WHO WE ARE
We are a support group of persons with varying degrees of vision loss.
Our purpose is to help ourselves and others to live as independently as possible with our vision loss and to enjoy active living and involvement in our community.
We are located in Montreal's West Island.
We welcome anyone who is experiencing vision loss to join us.

COMING EVENTS
Monthly Meetings
We have returned to in-person meetings.
Location: Our monthly meetings are held at Briarwood Presbyterian Church, 70 Beaconsfield Blvd., Beaconsfield, H9W 3Z3. Wheelchair accessible from the parking lot. Follow the path to the front door which leads directly into the narthex where we meet. If you are driven to the meeting, ask the driver to guide you to the front door. STM bus routes 201, 211 and 425 stop in front of the church at the corner of Beaconsfield Blvd and Claude.
We normally meet the second Wednesday of each month from September to May, from 1:15 to 3:30 p.m.
New members and visitors are always welcome. Don't hesitate to contact us for information on how to join our meetings. For more information on our monthly meetings and the services we offer, about who we are, and how to contact us and map showing where to find us, see the other pages of this website. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, suggestions, or are interested in joining us.
Upcoming Meetings:
March 13, 2024
Looking ahead to March, join us for a Q&A session where we will share questions that we have about strategies to deal with practical situations that arise as we live with vision loss. Bring your questions and ask them; you will get helpful advice from each other. Also come with questions about technology that you may want to know more about. Then also share your thoughts about topics you might want to hear more about. LVSHA is our organization and hearing from each other will help develop future programs in the coming months.
April 10, 2024
Alexandra Pereira Nunes, Notary and Legal Advisor, will speak to us about Wills, Mandates and Estates. In recent years major changes have been made in Quebec and this information is important for all to have. So come prepared with questions.
